There's a New Sheriff in Town

The people of the 1st Ward of Rochester Minnesota have spoken and it's too late to change their mind.

Ed Hruska has been elected to the Rochester City Council - again.

Congratulations Ed!

From Ed....

Gang,

What can I say but thanks a ton for your effort Saturday! It was great to see the large group and see the process plow through the neighborhoods of the 2nd, erh, I mean 1st ward! It was an outstanding job! Also, by putting out all the signs in Hanson’s yard later in the day you motivated me to get more signs out so I will be busy tonight! Then, we topped it off with the best 50th birthday party I have ever had! Wow, can the Hanson’s throw a party. Thanks Joe, Dennis, Linda, Rod, Barb, Nate, Sara and the gang for your work and contributions to the party. It was truly I day I will never forget.

I have done my best to round up emails for those attending. However, I do not have them all (Massaro’s, Jim, Janet, Laurie, Nate/Sara, Fishes). If you are a spouse or close friend please pass this on. And now since you are all officially members of the campaign committee please remember to join us Tuesday night after 8:00 at Whistle Binkies South for a campaign celebration!

And one last thing….there was an item from my birthday cake that was missing later in the night. Word has it Linda Hanson took it (Dennis is gone at a lot of meetings, you know) but I was wondering if anyone saw who did actually take it?

Dancin with the Stars?

Preview of Upcoming City Council Proceedings.

Once Ed got into his Spiderman outfit he was ready to address his faithful constituents......

Can't wait until January to see more of the Ed and Denny show at Rochester City Hall.

A Memorable Night

It was a great night.

After an afternoon of campaigning for Ed in south Rochester, friends and family met in Denny and Linda Hanson's garage in the 1st Ward of Rochester to celebrate Ed's 50th birthday.

Ed was kidnapped briefly, but after following a string of clues through town, some of his friends rescued him from his favorite bar and brought him back in time to open gifts and jump into his spider man and baggy pants suit.

Cake Says it All - Sorry Sue

If you look really close, you will see the "life size" replica of Ed's "election".

Meet the Candidate's Family

Common Sense for Rochester

You know Rochester will benefit from Ed's judgement and good old common sense approach.

Here he is shown purchasing two for one Mai Tai's for Holly - a real frugal guy.

Ed in the Garden

You know Ed loves to garden. Here he is shown tilling some gravel into his soil.

When it comes to planting out in that muddy part of the garden, Ed calls on Sue. You should vote for Ed, he is married to a Saint!

(Sort of) A Take Charge Guy

A
He may not grab the bull by the horns, but he will grab something and make things happen for Rochester.

Ed's Idea of Working Hard for Rochester

These junkets were not totally funded by corporate sponsors trying to win influence in Rochester City Government.

Campaign Consultant

We couldn't afford to print any more signs for the campaign so we hired this guy with a van to drive around and take all of the other guy's signs down.

Meet Ed's Campaign Manager

Steve "Tran Man" Anderson - CEO of AAMCO of St. Cloud Minnesota.

If he can't screw up Ed's campaign, nobody can.
